You are beautiful….Just the way you are
You’re beautiful, it’s true, typing this there’s a song that keeps playing in my head, don’t know if it pops up in yours too. So, In this category (beauty) we are going to be talking make-up and beauty tips, but lets calm a little😊, we are starting this journey with the most important thing which is appreciating, loving and slaying with that body of yours, just the way it is!
Don’t know if you get what I mean by “just the way it is”…it means with how dark or fair you are, with that body figure, with those finger nails, with the nature of your hair , with those lips with those legs, with that height, with that weight, with that wisdom, with every single bit of it, loving every single ounce of your being.
“You are most beautiful when you can appreciate and love yourself, for exactly who you are”
Sincerely I don’t think any queen should put on make-up or dress to slay without loving her self first but with our disoriented society and culture many women learn to fix their lashes and conceal just before they learn to love themselves.
I don’t mean to talk down on make-up and all, they ‘re awesome inventions and sincerely I’m crazy about them, I spent a good amount of money getting the ones I have and I have so much passion to learn how to make this face of mine pop perfectly, but many queens have been trying to find their place with the new standard of beauty these things have set, so they go extra mile trying to glow and in the process loose confidence in their own looks. This problem has always been in existence even before make up was much of a big deal, there are many reasons but one cause, which to me is loss of self esteem.
Many people have the wrong meaning of “beautiful”, and the society hasn’t helped at all, there is so much stereotyping when it comes to beauty, many people think being beautiful is having a pointed nose (for me, growing up that’s what we thought), having long legs, and really long hair and probably having Kim’s butt, or Tyra banks figure, yes they ‘re beautiful on queens who have them no doubts but you are just as beautiful whether you’ve chosen to believe it or not. Being beautiful means to be unique, I’m saying your beauty isn’t based on anybody’s standards it’s based on yours only, how much you’ve improved on yourself and more importantly how you feel about yourself.
“Beauty has so many forms, but I think the most beautiful form is confidence and self-love ”
“Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief she’s beautiful “
So Queens, next time you look into that mirror believe you are just as beautiful with or without make up on even if it doesn’t look like it, it’s your duty to believe it because there is no single person on planet earth like you, so why don’t you love and appreciate yourself to bits.
When you’re an expert in this then you’re good to go! Wear as much make up as your heart desires.
